New Slogan for Austin Texas

So I'm working with some folks who are trying to come up with a new slogan for Austin TX. "The Live Music Capital of the World" is actually Branson MO, and hasn't really applied here for some time, its much more like "Live Rehearsal Capital of Central Texas" these days.

The copywrited and franky sad old hippie hangover "Keep Austin Weird" has spawned such great parodies as "Keep Round Rock Normal" and "Keep Plugerville Phunky," thus far but we won't be heading in that direction.

So we're trying to come up with a snappy bumper sticker slogan that captures the true nature of Austin today. Here's the first few passes:

"Austin, California Rent with Arkansas Wages"

Correct, but a bit of a downer. How about:

"Austin, NYC Rent with NJ Culture"

But that doesn't work as we don't have a pizza joint worth mentioning actually..

The best I could come up with is:

"Austin, where you can live like a King for years off the the profits of selling your house in Simi Valley or whatever Godforsaken hellhole you crawled out of."

But its not exactly bumper sticker material. Sadly very true however
