So I left off my writing just about a month ago and have fallen WAY behind. There's upcoming essays on my time with the Klez Kamp Roadshow, gigs with Andy Statman, a week at KlezFest UK in London and an amazing weekend with the Klezmer Brass All Stars at the American Folk Festival in Bangor ME.
Then after my whirlwind adventures I arrive back at the violin shop just in time for the crazed Back to School rush, which is far more intense than I ever remember this year. And now I've come down with a flu bug (damn snot nosed kids.)

Very much looking forward to the spiel on gigs with Andy Statman. I am fortunate enough to live in Flatbush Brooklyn, near Mr Statman, and so get to check him out monthly. Truly phenomenal!! I'd give a kidney to see you two together on stage. If you ever happen to need one, I'm blood type B+, and he gigs at Barbes usually one Thursday a month.
