A long time ago, music journalists used to call me up and ask me dumb questions knowing full well I'd say something outrageous that they could print and cause some kind of ruckus. Time has passed, I've dropped off the radar and the internet came along and changed how we get information. It's a whole new world now and everyman is his own publishing empire. Lots of chatter out there to be sure.

Well it looks like there's hope for a happy outcome after all.
Being from Oklahoma, I'm naturally a Stoney Edwards fan. He's in my top 5 C&W vocalist of all time (along with Floyd Tilman and Johnny Bush.) Groing up, I knew lots of black folks from the country; farmers, rodeo cowboys and musicians. Didn't ever think much of it. Jews ain't supposed to be "country" either I guess.
1. Sunglasses. Gotta let them see your eyes.
2. Stupid festival badge still on. Dorky.
3. Wristwatch. Dale Watson taught me to keep the watch on backwards so that you can tell the time while you're still playing. Otherwise you have to wait till a break between songs and then be seen by the whole assembled looking at your watch. Never cool.
